Solving linear equations
Solve the equation 2(y-4)=18.
Solution
Method A
2(y-4)=18 Divide both sides by 2.
(Y-4)=9=9 Add 4 to both sides.
Y=13
Method B
2(y-4)=18 Remove brackets.
2y-8=18 Add 8 to both sides
2y=26 Divide both side by 2.
Y=13
Which method do you prefer?A or B?
Am good at using method B but i guess A is easy as well thanks
ReplyDelete😓😓those are hard
